Meet Tapas Kar, Jr. Application Software Developer.

Tell me about yourself.
I'm passionate about using my technical skills to tackle real-world problems and make a meaningful impact. Beyond work, I'm a dedicated foodie and music enthusiast, always eager to explore new restaurants and discover both new and classic tunes. In fact, I aspire to become a DJ someday. Another passion of mine is football (soccer), and my favorite team at the moment is Manchester City. Looking to the future, I dream of traveling the world, sharing my music to make people dance, and exploring diverse cuisines along the way.

What do you like most about the work we do here?
I'm deeply fulfilled by the healthcare sector, where I contribute to software products that improve patient care and public health. Knowing my work directly impacts healthcare delivery and outcomes brings me immense satisfaction, as there's a profound sense of purpose in knowing that the tools I help develop play a role in enhancing healthcare delivery and positively impacting lives.

What do you like about our company culture?
What I like about our company culture is that we're all dedicated to our shared goals while ensuring our daily activities are enjoyable and engaging. It's inspiring to see how each colleague is not only focused on their own growth, but also eager to support others along their journey, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages us all to strive for excellence in our respective fields.

In a few details, what is your favorite part of your job?
I love the daily challenges of developing and maintaining our product, especially when I solve production bugs or optimize healthcare data processing. Further, the culture of innovation and support for improving our system for Remote Patient Monitoring is inspiring. Lastly, I love learning about new technologies in the real world because it continuously enhances my skills as an engineer.

What motivates you?
I find immense motivation in the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in public health through the application of my technical skillset to solve real-world healthcare challenges. It's incredibly fulfilling to know that the work I do directly contributes to improving the well-being and outcomes of individuals and communities, ultimately making a positive impact on public health initiatives.

What is your favorite part of working at our company?
My favorite aspect of working at this company is the continuous learning and growth I experience as a Software Engineer, particularly in providing solutions to healthcare-related challenges. Additionally, collaborating with my colleagues who share a common goal makes the journey enjoyable and fulfilling. And, to wrap up, I love the snacks and lunches provided at the office because they add a nice touch to the overall experience.
