Meet Emily Keough, Director of Marketing and Channel Partnerships.
Tell me about yourself
I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and am still an avid fan of the Reds and Bengals and unofficial promoter/defender of Cincinnati chili. I was recently promoted from dog mom to human mom and it has been the most rewarding and challenging job I’ve ever had.
I have worked in various healthcare marketing roles for 10+ years. I love combining storytelling and strategy, and I love knowing that our product has a positive impact on patients’ health. It’s much easier to market something that I think makes a difference in people’s lives, and a product that I really believe in.
What do you like most about the work we do here?
I love how innovative we are. We are a leader in the Remote Patient Monitoring space and the SMART-on-FHIR space, both of which are relatively new concepts that are going to revolutionize healthcare. It’s exciting to be a part of a constantly evolving and growing market and company.
What do you like about our company culture?
Our company culture is something truly special. We are a diverse team with different nationalities, religions, and life experiences, and we not only respect each other’s cultures but celebrate them with team events and pot lucks. This diversity fuels our creativity and innovation, making us stronger and more adaptable. I love working in an environment where everyone’s unique perspective is valued and contributes to our collective success.
Can you tell us a few details about the favorite part of your job?
One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to meet our driven and innovative partners and clients who are also fighting to make healthcare better for patients. I learn something new every time I speak with them, and love hearing how the work we do at Rimidi impacts patients from their perspective.
In addition, I love how closely sales and marketing work together at Rimidi. Our goals are the same, and it’s exciting to see how marketing strategies directly impact sales.
Which company values resonate with you the most?
The value that resonates the most with me is Tenacity. Being a growth-stage company in the relatively new and constantly evolving RPM space is hard. Leading the change with new concepts and technology is hard. "Changing healthcare" is an uphill battle. But patient by patient, we are making a difference.
What motivates you?
I love hearing about the real-world impact we are having on patients and their relationship with their doctors. Knowing that our work is making a tangible difference in people’s lives is incredibly motivating. It's what drives me to push boundaries, think creatively, and strive for excellence every day.
What is your favorite part of working at our company?
My colleagues! There is a shared sense of purpose and a love of problem solving across the organization. The team inspires me to bring my best every day, because it is clear they do!
What’s a fun fact about you?
I had a part time job as the mall Easter Bunny when I was 16 years old. I can’t say it really influenced my career path, but it is pretty funny to look back on.
