Meet Tory Noto, Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Tell me about yourself.
I have been in healthcare for more than 20 years. Prior to Rimidi, I worked for medical device companies and an electronic health record company. My interest in healthcare is driven by the reality that healthcare needs to be efficient and effective. At some point, all of us will need healthcare, but we too often wait until issues have progressed and become more difficult to treat. Working at Rimidi allows me to be at the front of the process – helping patients control their chronic illnesses before those diseases degrade their quality of life.
What do you like most about the work we do here?
The product helps clinicians provide better care to their patients with chronic conditions. Remote patient monitoring through Rimidi clearly improves patient outcomes, especially for people living with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and similar diseases. I love that our solution enables clinicians to provide the best possible care for their patients. We are a mission-driven organization, and I am proud to work with this team of dedicated employees who continue to build the best RPM platform available.
What do you like about our company culture?
Everything starts from the top and we have an amazing leader, Dr. Lucie Ide, who founded the company. Her foresight to start Rimidi prior to the availability of reimbursement for RPM and CCM drives our culture. We are dedicated to the company and to the product, because we see how it enables clinicians to provide better care. By using Rimidi, clinicians get so much more beyond data. They get clinical decision support, interoperability with major EHRs, patient reported outcomes, easy communication, and streamlined workflows allowing them to magnify their patient outreach.
In a few details, what is your favorite part of your job?
Apart from working with my colleagues, I love engaging clinicians regarding Rimidi. I am proud to attend trade shows and conferences to educate people about Rimidi’s functionality – how it supports clinical and financial results for the practice. Furthermore, I love to deliver product demonstrations for people to understand who we are, how we help them, and why Rimidi is the best-in-class product. Our goal is to build strong, healthy, sustainable, and effective programs that drive better outcomes.
Which company values resonate with you?
The company value that resonates with me is tenacity. Rimidi has come a long way since our founding over a decade ago, but there is a long road ahead. Our market is fragmented, so it is challenging for clinicians to identify solutions that best meet their needs. However, our tenacity drives us to continually expand and improve our product with feature enhancement requests coming from our customers. We are focused on having the best product today, tomorrow, and beyond.
What motivates you?
I am motivated by expanding our family of clients as an RPM “evangelist” because we are bringing technology to patients living with chronic illnesses to improve their outcomes. Rimidi works with everyone from family practitioners to specialists, to large integrated delivery networks, to academic medical centers, to federally qualified health centers and more. Wherever patients need care, Rimidi provides the software, devices, and monitoring to build a strong, healthy, efficient, and stable program that reduces complications and promotes better health.
What is your favorite part of working at our company?
Beyond our tenacity and our focus on building successful RPM and CCM programs, my favorite part of the company is working with my colleagues. The people here are smart, motivated, fun, and committed. I am proud to work for a company where our people are engaged to ensure the success of all our customers.
