Meet Mariana Martushevska, Quality Manager.
What’s a fun fact about yourself?
I'm a QA Engineer with over 7 years of experience spanning various industries. I began in Customer Support at my first job, but pivoted to QA because I became curious about how software functions. Today, I'm deeply passionate about ensuring software applications are reliable, functional, and user-centric. The journey has been incredible, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
What do you like most about the work we do here?
What I appreciate most about our work is the relentless pursuit of improving the product. The team takes great pride in the positive patient outcomes, particularly in areas where its challenging for people to access healthcare. Additionally, the seamless collaboration between teams is great. From the beginning of each development cycle, whether it be taking part in requirement-gathering to design discussions, QA is consistently involved.
What do you like about our company culture?
Our company culture is something I really cherish. The diversity, mutual respect, and support Rimidi gives for skill development is incredible. Hearing diverse perspectives, feeling productive, and constantly learning new skills make each day great. I wholeheartedly support and appreciate how Rimidi fosters this environment because it truly makes a difference in my workday.
In a few details, what is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job are the diverse technical challenges that come with each new client or device integration. It keeps the work dynamic, offers continuous learning, and fosters strong teamwork. These challenges not only make the job fulfilling, but also contribute to our constant growth and adaptability in a fast-paced technical landscape.
What company values resonate with you?
I’m fully aligned with all of Rimidi’s values, but two that particularly resonate with me are curiosity and collaboration. The emphasis on curiosity reflects my own eagerness to explore and learn in a field that is both dynamic and complex. Additionally, collaboration holds great significance for me, given the cross-functional nature of my department where I work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers.
What motivates you?
I thrive in a fast-paced work environment, although it can be challenging at times. With a million tasks in a short timeframe, it's easy for the team to feel overwhelmed. Yet, the QA team remains highly motivated and determined to succeed. Looking ahead this year, I'm excited about the goal to expand the coverage of the platform with automated scripts.
What is your favorite part of working at our company?
My favorite part of working at Rimidi is the ability to learn something new, the opportunity to develop new skills, a shared drive among the team to continuously improve the product, the positive and collaborative atmosphere fostered by the people, and the overall sense of camaraderie. It truly is a special place that has made a significant impact on my professional journey, and it's crazy to realize that it has only been a little under 2 years since I first joined.
