Meet Mari Fonger, VP of Clinical Solutions

Tell me about yourself.
I began my career as a pediatric nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital but later moved into healthcare management focusing on sales, marketing, and operations. For nearly nine years now, I've been at Rimidi, where I believe I'm making a real difference in both patients' lives and providers' workflows. We're revolutionizing healthcare through technology, and I'm excited about the ongoing opportunities to innovate and drive positive change.

What do you like most about the work we do here?
I’m a naturally curious person and thrive on learning new skills, so working for a technology company provides ongoing opportunities to expand my perspectives and capabilities. My role is to collaborate with providers to ensure seamless integration of our software within their existing workflows and to address any questions they encounter along the way. Having come from a traditional healthcare background, I find great satisfaction in helping bridge the gap between their clinical workflows and the functionality of our software.

What do you like about our company culture?
I love the collaborative atmosphere within our company and the diverse makeup of our team. On any given day, I engage not only with my fellow client success team members but also with colleagues from sales, marketing, operations, and leadership. This interaction allows me to build relationships across departments and gain a deeper understanding of the business. Furthermore, I appreciate the diversity of our employees because each member brings a unique perspective to the table, fostering innovation and growth.

In a few details, what is your favorite part of your job?
The aspect of my job that I enjoy the most is the opportunity to engage in diverse projects and help manage a wide range of tasks. Whether it's collaborating with large healthcare systems, small medical practices, or Community Health Centers, each presents its own unique challenges. Additionally, I serve as a mentor to new colleagues who join our company because I love sharing my knowledge and experience while learning about the new team member’s perspective and background.

The company value that resonates with me is our unwavering commitment to excellence in everything we do. Having started at Rimidi three years after it was founded, I've witnessed remarkable growth, driven by the dedication and effort of every individual team member. Being immersed in this environment is very inspiring; everyone is driven to excel, and we all encourage one another to continually evolve and improve.

What motivates you?
The opportunity to learn and develop professionally is a key motivator for me. When I witness the positive impact of my efforts, that sense of satisfaction propels me to strive for further improvement. In the realm of remote patient monitoring and chronic care management, the landscape is constantly evolving, presenting endless avenues for exploration and growth.

What is your favorite part of working at our company?
The culture of innovation and collaboration is something I cherish. Everyone is empowered to contribute ideas and collaborate on finding solutions. This inclusive approach ensures that challenges are managed together.
